With a compact rack design, ATEM Constellation HD integrates a convenient control panel for prompt intervention during setup or in the event of an emergency. On the panel there is a large LCD display to monitor program output and change settings. The small and portable design of the switcher makes it ideal for live productions. On the back it houses connections including 3G-SDI inputs, 3G-SDI aux outputs, balanced audio and ethernet for control. The flagship model with 4 M / E also includes an RS-422 port for serial control and MADI connections for digital audio. Broadcast-style M / E switching

ATEM Constellation HD uses the classic professional program / preview style, the mode used by large broadcasters for live productions. In other words, you will have at your fingertips the same type of switcher used in the television industry! Both the free ATEM Software Control and the optional physical panels of the ATEM Advanced Panel line use program / preview mode. In practice, it allows you to select a source on the preview bus to make sure it is the right one before pressing the CUT or AUTO button to broadcast it. With this mode you avoid making mistakes because it requires two commands, making ATEM Constellation the ideal solution for starting students on a career in television broadcasting!
