This Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 Cat.6A Extender can be used to extend the distance between USB devices and the host computer up to 100 meters.
It supports USB data transmission for control, bulk, interrupt, and isochronous types. A Cat.6A or higher network cable* (not included) is used to establish the connection between the transmitter and receiver at a maximum distance of 100m (328.08 feet). Using a Cat.6 cable allows for a maximum distance of 40m.
The Power over Cable feature allows for a single power supply to be connected to either the transmitting or receiving unit.
The 4 Type A ports on the receiver can also supply 5V power to connected devices, 2 ports support up to 1.5A each and 2 ports support up to 1A each.

Status LEDs help the user monitor power, the connection between the transmitter and receiver, and whether data transfer is in progress, while the additional RS232 and FSYNC GPIO ports allow for bidirectional command transmission, even for industrial cameras. With its robust metal housing and mounting brackets, this Extender is the ideal solution for professional applications and industrial environments.
Additionally, power is connected via a screw DC jack, ensuring a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could pose a serious problem. *: To cover long distances close to the 100m limit, it is recommended to use Cat6A (or higher) cables certified for HDBaseT.
