Enjoy a twilight atmosphere against a breathtaking backdrop - as an unobtrusive observer, the telephoto lens is able to immerse you in this unique moment from afar. ZEISS Milvus 2/135 allows for a simply incomparable interaction between foreground and background.
It can be used in the most varied situations, allowing you to capture the emotions of the artists on stage from your seat in the third row or to create breathtaking portraits full of detail. The position of the focus ring does not vary, making the lens suitable for video applications with a follow focus system.

Medium telephoto lens featuring bright design and sophisticated optics, from ZEISS is a Sonnar-type lens that offers high sharpness, speed and accurate contrast and color rendering. The optical design uses 4 anomalous partial dispersion glass elements to almost completely eliminate chromatic aberrations and other distortions for clean and well corrected images. A system of floating elements is also used, for consistent performance throughout the focusing range, in order to achieve sharpness and clarity as well. An improved ZEISS T * anti-reflective coating has also been applied to significantly reduce ghosting and lens flare for better contrast and color fidelity when working in difficult lighting conditions.
The manual focus design is complemented by a rubberized focus ring for precise and precise control of the focus position. In addition, the Milvus series lenses feature an anodized metal alloy surface that is also frosted and aesthetically and durable at the same time, as well as a waterproof construction for protection from dust and moisture.
The incredibly bright f / 2 maximum aperture is ideal for working in low-light conditions and also offers more control over focus position when using depth-of-field techniques.
Sonnar's optical concept adapts to the combination of a large maximum aperture and a long focal length, as well as delivering remarkable sharpness, well-controlled glare and high contrast.
Four anomalous partial dispersion elements are used to significantly reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color fidelity.
ZEISS T * anti-reflective coating has been applied to each lens surface to minimize reflections and provide greater contrast and color fidelity.
The floating element system helps maintain consistent image quality throughout the entire focusing range from 2.6 'to infinity.
The manual focus design is benefited by the focus and depth-of-field scales and hard stops in both infinity and minimum focus positions.
The manual opening ring clicked indicators across the entire opening range. Using the included De-Click tool, this ring can be mechanically "deactivated" for smooth, quiet rotation across the entire aperture range; makes it ideal for video applications.
The weather-resistant construction includes internal gaskets to protect against dust and moisture and a blue sealing ring on the lens holder to protect the lens camera interface.
The all-metal lens body has a frosted anodized surface and a rubber focus ring for durability and improved tactile control.
