° Wide gamut
To fully exploit the color spectrum of modern digital cameras, a monitor must have a very wide color space.
Otherwise, it is not possible to perform a faithful visual evaluation and a consistent reproduction of saturated tones.
That is why the ColorEdge CS2400S monitor equipped with an IPS panel is able to cover the AdobeRGB space and 99% of the CMYK ISO-Coated V2 printing space.

This ensures precise reproduction of all the tones and gradations offered by modern cameras, without alterations or loss of quality and to simulate the print result through the monitor (soft proof).

° Excellent visual quality
The screen guarantees excellent visual quality thanks to its resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a contrast ratio of 1350:1] and a maximum brightness of 410 cd/m2. Graphics and images are displayed with absolute precision, the contours are distinct and accurate.
The LCD module with IPS (Wide Gamut) technology] offers a wide viewing angle of 178° without loss of chromaticity or contrast.

° Gradations and shades without jaggies thanks to the 16-bit LUT and 10-bit mode
The CS2400S color table is capable of processing a 16-bit color depth that can return up to a billion shades to the panel.
This allows for uniform and well-defined reproduction of shades, avoiding undesirable effects of posterization or jaggies and other artifacts that cause loss of detail in dark areas, shadows or highly saturated areas.

ColorEdge monitors are ready to use immediately after startup and each ColorEdge CS2400S monitor is carefully preset at the factory.
For this purpose, the gamma curves of red, green and blue are meticulously adjusted and corrected.
This perfect calibration allows the user to use the monitor with the preset color spaces - as a result it is immediately ready for use and subsequent calibrations will also be extremely fast.

° Digital Uniformity Equalizer
The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) technology regulates and neutralizes brightness and color fluctuations, ensuring uniform colors that are stable over time and guarantees the color correspondence essential for processing, correcting and editing images in post-production via the computer.

° Uncompromising hardware calibration
To ensure that the monitor displays the image consistently, it is necessary to perform calibration at regular intervals.
ColorEdge monitors use hardware calibration for this purpose.
Unlike software calibration, which always carries the risk of quality losses, hardware calibration not only creates a correction profile for the graphics card, but also saves the color calibration data directly in the monitor's LUT (Look-Up-Table), which will then be able to reproduce colors precisely and without discontinuity.

° EIZO software for ultra-fast calibration
Optimal calibration can only be achieved with a well-calibrated monitor. Calibration via software is very laborious and requires in-depth knowledge of color management.
The ColorNavigator 7 calibration software allows even the least experienced user to calibrate in 90 seconds (measured with a MacBook Pro and the EIZO EX4 probe).
And since calibration is carried out via the monitor's hardware, the image will still have the same color accuracy even after 5 years.

The free Quick Color Match software is intended as a complete solution for the amateur user who wants accurate colors and a simple color management process.
The guided setup allows you to drag and drop the desired monitor, software and printer settings and achieve a quick result between monitor and printer viewing.

The CS2400S model features a highly complex circuit (ASIC, Application-Specific Integrated Circuit), specially developed by EIZO to meet the needs of high-level reproduction.
A special algorithm ensures consistent, precise and stable color representation.

° Flexible connectivity thanks to the USB-C port
With just one USB-C cable, you can display images, transmit data via USB and charge a connected device.
This turns the ColorEdge CS2400S monitor into a real docking station, freeing up space on your desk.
Peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard or printer are connected directly to the USB-A ports.
Devices such as laptops and tablets can also be powered via the USB-C cable with up to 70 W.
