To take full advantage of the color spectrum of modern digital cameras, a monitor must have a very large color space.
Otherwise, faithful visual evaluation and consistent reproduction of saturated hues cannot be performed.
That's why the ColorEdge CS2400S monitor equipped with an IPS panel is able to cover the AdobeRGB space and 99% of the space for CMYK ISO-Coated V2 printing.
This ensures a precise reproduction of all shades and gradations offered by modern cameras, without alterations or loss of quality and to simulate the print result through the monitor (soft proof).

° Excellent visual quality
The screen ensures excellent visual quality thanks to its resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a contrast ratio of 1350:1] and a maximum brightness of 410 cd/m2. Graphics and images are displayed with absolute precision, the contours are distinct and accurate.
The LCD module with IPS (Wide Gamut) technology] offers a wide viewing angle of 178° without loss of chromaticity or contrast.

° Gradations and blends without jaggies thanks to the 16-bit LUT and 10-bit mode
The CS2400S color table is capable of processing a 16-bit color depth that can return up to a billion shades to the panel.
This allows for smooth, well-defined tonal reproduction, avoiding unwanted posterization or jaggies and other artifacts that cause loss of detail in dark areas, shadows, or highly saturated areas.

ColorEdge monitors are ready right out of the box, and each ColorEdge CS2400S monitor is carefully preset at the factory.
For this purpose, the red, green and blue gamma curves are meticulously adjusted and corrected.
This perfect calibration allows the user to use the monitor with pre-set color spaces - as a result it is immediately ready for use and subsequent calibrations will also take place extremely quickly.

° Digital Uniformity Equalizer
Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) technology adjusts and neutralizes fluctuations in brightness and color, ensuring consistent colors that are stable over time, and provides the color matching essential for computer processing, correcting, and editing of images in post-production.

° Uncompromising hardware calibration
To ensure that your monitor displays a consistent image, you need to calibrate it at regular intervals.
ColorEdge monitors use hardware calibration for this purpose.
Unlike software calibration which always carries the risk of quality loss, hardware calibration not only creates a correction profile for the graphics card, but saves the color calibration data directly in the color table LUT (Look-Up-Table) of the monitor which will be able to reproduce colors precisely and without discontinuity.

° EIZO software for ultra-fast calibration
Optimal calibration can only be achieved with a well-calibrated monitor. A software calibration is very laborious and requires in-depth knowledge of color management.
The ColorNavigator 7 calibration software allows calibration in 90 seconds (measured with MacBook Pro and the EIZO EX4 probe) even for the less experienced user.
And because the calibration is done through the monitor hardware, the image will still have the same color match even after 5 years.

The free Quick Color Match software offers a complete solution for the amateur user who wants accurate color and an easy color management process.
Thanks to the guided configuration it is possible to drag and drop the desired settings of the monitor, software and printer and achieve a rapid result between viewing on the monitor and the printer.

The CS2400S model has a highly complex circuit (ASIC, Application-Specific Integrated Circuit), specially made by EIZO to meet the needs of high-level reproduction.
A special algorithm ensures consistent, accurate and stable color representation.

° Flexible connectivity thanks to the USB-C port
With just one USB-C cable, you can view images, transmit data via USB and charge a connected device.
This transforms the ColorEdge CS2400S monitor into a true docking station, freeing up desk space.
Peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard or printer are connected directly to the USB-A ports.
Devices such as laptops and tablets can also be powered via the USB-C cable up to a power of 70W.
