PVM-X Series Monitors Expand the Impact of 4K HDR Production
Expand your 4K HDR production and color matching with the industry-leading BVM-HX Series reference monitor.
With its compact size and high portability, the PVM-X Series monitors bring 1000 cd/m2 all-white luminance to production monitoring across a wide range of applications.
Acclaimed TRIMASTER™ Picture Technology
Our TRIMASTER™ architecture is purpose-built to extract the highest performance from professional displays.
These key technologies deliver accurate color reproduction, precise imaging, and remarkable consistency of image quality.
Advanced panel controls and signal processing have been refined to deliver a premium image reproduction experience.
Consistent Color Matching
Ensure that every component of your production is working with the same high-end images.
Whether you're shooting in HD or 4K, our PVM-X Series monitors are color matched to our BVM-HX Series 4K HDR reference monitors and LMD-A Series HDR HD viewing monitors.
The premium panel offers 1000 cd/m² luminance for easy monitoring on set, in the studio and in the OB van.
More efficient production and HDR to SDR conversion
Efficiently switch between HDR and SDR with the optional PVML-HSX1 HDR-SDR conversion license for live production.
And convert color spaces, OETF, progressive to interlaced, quad-link 3G to single-link 12G, and 4K to HD all at the same time.
Compare converted HDR and SDR images side by side, and even view converted images on other 4K or HD monitors, using the improved monitor output.
Adaptive Contrast for Quick Reviews
Confirm the overall balance of highlights and lowlights at a glance, thanks to our Dynamic Contrast Drive.
The backlight luminance adapts so you can easily review the balance of highlights and lowlights.
Enjoy better representation of blacks during night scenes and brighter highlights in brighter daylight shots.
Access a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 with the press of a single predefined function key (F12 key).
Check the image with 4K and HD scope with HDR/SDR scale
Show a waveform monitor, vectorscope and color gamut scope simultaneously (From firmware V3.0), with HDR and SDR scales.
Confirm input signal level and output luminance, with a choice of three waveform displays, luminance, RGB/YCBCR series or RGB overlay with gamut error display.
Multiple aspect quad view display
Explore and compare settings, with a quad view display (HD input sources only) that shows everything you need.
Individual settings available for EOTF (in SDR and HDR), SDI/HDMI, RGB/YCBCR, color space, transfer matrix, color temperature, contrast and brightness.
Each display view can apply user 3D LUTs and ranges can still be shown in dual and triple image modes.
Signal output support for user 3D LUTs
Check previously graded images, wherever you are.
The User LUT function lets you apply custom LUTs in quad view mode for side-by-side comparison.
Simply load user 3D LUT files via USB and benefit from the PVM-X Series' LUT tetrahedral interpolation, which provides smoother grayscale reproduction.
From firmware V4.0 onwards, the optional PVML-TDX1 3D LUT baked output license and PVML-SCX1 signal conversion license enable the PVM-X Series monitors to output a converted image from the enhanced monitor output.
