The Lindy 2-Port USB 3.0 Fiber Optic Extender 300m supports SuperSpeed transfer rates of up to 5Gbps.
This extender is a complete two-part hardware solution, consisting of a transmitter that connects directly to the user's computer and a receiver that connects to two USB devices, using a duplex LC fiber cable.

The extender is ideal for long distance use with remote desktop connections, industrial control systems, surveillance control rooms or conference rooms, and external storage applications.
This device is fully compatible and can be used to extend the signals of USB 3.2/3.1/3.0 4K webcams and video conferencing systems.
Off-the-shelf duplex LC fiber cabling provides a greater level of flexibility in choosing the cable length to meet installation requirements.
Using fiber optic transmission, this extender offers high resistance to EMI and RFI, perfect for use in noisy areas such as hospitals, large retail installations, or industrial buildings.

*Please note: This extender is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices. Some USB 2.0 cameras use a different timing standard and may therefore be incompatible.
