Versatile wide-angle lens for Sony mirrorless cameras with E plug, the Samyang AF 24mm f / 2.8 FE is a particularly compact and lightweight lens suitable for travel, landscape and street photography. The optical design incorporates three aspherical elements and two elements with high refractive index to suppress spherical aberrations, which works to achieve a high degree of sharpness and clarity throughout the aperture range. An ultra-multiple coating has also been applied to control glare and ghosting for greater contrast when working under intense lighting conditions. The auto-focus lens motor done in combination with the AF systems of Sony cameras for fast and precise focusing performance and manual focus operation is also available for more refined control.

The first compact wide-angle lens is installed for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, but it can also be used with APS-C models where it has an equivalent focal length of 36 mm.
