The exceptional detection range of the Leica Calonox View is based on a vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor at the highest level, with 640 x 512 pixels and a pixel size of 12 µm, for excellent thermal resolution

Photo and video function with Live View

Keep the special moments forever.
Leica Calonox View has 16 GB internal memory to record special observations such as photos or videos. Using the Calonox View App, stored images can be transferred to a smartphone via WLAN or to a computer via cable. You can also have Live View observations with a mobile phone.

See more, identify with confidence: With a defined target size of 1.7 x 0.5m, the Leica Calonox View can acquire targets up to a distance of 3,000 meters, recognize targets up to 1,000m and accurately identify them up to 500m.

Ideal for close-up observations, the 42mm objective in combination with the basic 2.5x optical magnification offers a wide field of view and the best overview. The digital zoom can be set to a magnification of up to 10x, so that no details remain hidden, even at great distances.

Calonox View App

Quick and easy: With the Calonox View App, photos or videos stored on the thermal imager can be transferred to the smartphone via WLAN. In addition, the Live View function allows you to observe the scenery on the mobile phone screen. With a simple click you can switch the display between day and night mode.

Three calibration modes for image optimization

Restore, update, improve.
With the three built-in calibration modes Auto (A), Manual (M), and Background (B), you can restore, update and enhance the image on the display. In A and M modes, shutter calibration is initiated automatically or, if desired, manually with a button. With a covered lens, Background calibration is particularly efficient for best results.

The powerful OLED display with 1280 x 960 pixels allows for comfortable observation and reliable identification in retrieval or from stalking. The rechargeable battery, installed permanently and with about 5 hours of autonomy, is particularly well protected from cold and humidity. Charging while in use is also allowed, for example using a power bank.
