The LUMIX S1II is carefully designed to meet the needs of professional photographers and videographers.
It features a newly developed 24.1MP partially stacked full-frame CMOS image sensor and is supported by a newly developed Venus Engine.
This synergy enables faster readout and processing speeds, facilitating high frame rate recording in 4K 120p and 5.8K 60p formats.
It also excels in dynamic range with Dynamic Range Boost mode, achieving up to 15 stops in V-Log when shooting at frame rates below 30p.
For photography, high-speed continuous shooting of up to 70 frames per second with SH / SH pre-shot mode of up to 1.5 seconds ensures that fleeting moments are captured.

The LUMIX S1II increases flexibility and facilitates content creation by streamlining workflows.
The highly acclaimed Open Gate functionality now supports formats higher than 6K 30p, enabling 5.1K 60p, thereby expanding creative opportunities for users.
A future firmware update will include additional frame marker displays to further enhance creative flexibility.

- Employs a newly developed 24.1MP full-frame partially stacked CMOS image sensor.
- Supports LUMIX's pioneering 5.1K 60p high-speed recording, as well as advanced formats such as 4K 120p and 5.8K 60p for optimized performance.
- Offers LUMIX's first 15-stop dynamic range video recording in V-Log when using frame rates lower than 30p.
- High-resolution continuous shooting, offering up to 70 fps with the electronic shutter in "SH/SH PRE" mode, and an extended "H+ (High Speed Plus)" continuous shooting mode of approximately 10 fps with a mechanical shutter, enabling a smooth, blackout-free photographic experience.
- Addition of new AF recognition for 'Urban Sports' that accurately captures dynamic movements such as breakdancing, skateboarding and parkour.
- Advanced 8.0-stop In-body Image Stabilization (B.I.S.) and innovative E.I.S. video distortion correction system, which stabilizes the shooting angle while maintaining the entire field of view.
- ARRI LogC3 available for the S series using the DMW-SFU3A software update code (sold separately).
- Supports internal recording of Apple ProRes RAW HQ / ProRes RAW at 5.8K 30p / C4K 60p to a Type-B Cfexpress card.
- Improved real-time Phase Hybrid AF recognition, with improved eye and face detection capabilities and high-precision AI-supported people tracking.
