Capture full-frame PTZ footage for broadcast, reality shows, live events and sports with the black FR7 Cinema Line PTZ camera from Sony.
This versatile camera offers the unique ability to use interchangeable Sony E-mount lenses and is currently compatible with up to 70 E-mount lenses from 12 to 1200 mm.
The large image sensor offers over 15 stops of dynamic range, captures up to UHD 4K120 video, offers live streaming, supports S-Cinetone, Cine EI and MLUT matching with selected Sony cameras and allows for shallow depth of field bokeh effects.
The FR7 PTZ camera features flexible PoE++ (Power-over-Ethernet) installation, up to 100 preset positions, tally lights, a built-in electronic ND filter, a 5-pin XLR audio input and multi-camera functions such as timecode and Genlock.
Versatile control options include an IR remote control, compatibility with controllers such as the Sony RP-IP500 and a remote web app for tablets and computers.

Compatibility with up to 70 Sony E-mount lenses covers a range from 12 to 1200mm, allowing you to capture the widest panoramas and the closest details
Use with G Master (GM) lenses for impressive resolution and beautiful bokeh

Imaging functions
Capture rich detail and expansive colour with Sony S-Log3 and create nuanced contrast with Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG)

Built-in ND filters
A built-in electronic ND filter provides variable ND filtration from 1/4 (2 stops) to 1/128 (7 stops)
Use the ND filter to compensate for changes in exposure without affecting depth of field
Create shallow depth of field effects by adding ND and opening the aperture

Video Output and Streaming
- Output video using the HDMI and up to 12G-SDI video outputs
- Stream RTSP, SRT or NDI|HX (requires a NewTek license) using the LAN port

Control Options
- The included IR remote control can be used for pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ), focus, record, playback and other camera settings
- Use with the separately available RM-IP500 control panel with joystick zoom lever and buttons
- Web app remote control can be accessed from a tablet or PC browser

Mounting
- Mount to a tripod or riser using the two 1/4"-20 threads
- Use the optional mount to secure the FR7 camera to a ceiling
- Attach camera accessories using the 15mm rod mounts
