This new feature will remove the center column to allow for weight and bring the camera closer to the ground. Uses existing components: the top disc with 1/4 "- 3/8" reversible bolt and the column hook assembly: remove the column and attach the disc directly to the top casting using the column. No tools are needed.
Medium level retractor
The built-in mid-level retractor adds more anti-torsion stiffness and stretches to tripod legs by accidentally banging. Compared to a ground-level spreader or cart, the mid-level spreader has the advantage of staying well away from mud and dirt and is more suitable for use on uneven ground.
