Designed for larger DSLRs, mirrorless, and cine-style digital cameras, the aktiv12T supports rigs weighing from 0 to 30.9 lbs. This fluid head features 15 levels of counterweight and seven levels of pan and tilt drag adjustment, as well as zero settings for both balance and resistance.

SpeedLevel technology replaces the traditional head screw and anchor design with a sturdy clamp integrated into the head cup and a pin component that attaches to the tripod bowl or other mounting platforms, such as a slider. Just grab the large lever on the head and pull it up to release the clamp, then press it down to lock the head in place. Partial lifting of the lever allows you to level the head quickly and easily. The PrismBubble integrated leveling system is pressed once to illuminate the bubble level or twice to illuminate both the bubble level and drag settings - an advantage when working in darker environments. The bubble level also has a built-in prism, which allows you to easily level the head when the legs are set at a maximum height or at an awkward angle.
