The ART 945-A is a loudspeaker designed for stellar sound performance and versatility in the most demanding audio applications.
The combination of a 4" titanium/neodymium compression driver, a 15" woofer, a 2100W 2-channel amplifier, and a constant-directivity True Resistive Waveguide produces consistent 100° x 60° coverage across the entire listening area and distortion-free sound with sound pressure levels up to 135 dB SPL.
Thanks to RCF's proprietary FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control algorithms, perfectly calibrated for each model, audiences will enjoy absolute clarity in vocal reproduction and a deep, powerful low-frequency response.
The elegant cabinet uses a special polypropylene composite material, internally reinforced with an M-brace structure, making it easy to transport and safe to mount on stands, wall-mounted, suspended, or attached to rigging structures using the multiple integrated anchor points.

M-brace: A New Cabinet Design
The professional-looking cabinet of the ART 9 Series models is ideal for live events and fixed installations.
The elegant cabinet uses a special polypropylene composite material and adopts a radically new construction concept.
The front grille is made of highly robust steel and protects both the transducers and the reflex ports.
The specially designed M-brace structure internally connects the four sides of the cabinet and the amplifier, preventing any deformation to ensure a completely inert body and increasing acoustic damping even at the highest volume settings.
Furthermore, it also acts as a reinforcing structure capable of offering greater resistance to mechanical stress.

Bass Motion Control
Researching to improve low-frequency performance, RCF engineers removed the high-pass filter, replacing it with a new approach.
BMC (Bass Motion Control) is an innovative solution for managing woofer excursions.
The speaker equipped with BMC is able to handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the transducer's stability, thus providing extended linearity and improved sonic integrity.
The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the woofer's dynamic behavior to generate a customized algorithm that limits only over-excursion.
This gives the transducer complete freedom in signal reproduction.

High-pass filters typically protect the woofer from potentially destructive movements, but they change its phase behavior: the new BMC algorithm breaks this rule.
