It features a black nylon fabric exterior and high-loft insulation and is made extra-long to accommodate a mounted battery and XDCA unit.
The interior lining is made from a phase-change material that helps keep warm air in and cold air out.
Interior hook-and-loop fabric allows you to arrange air-activated hand warmers that keep your camera warm and operable even down to -50°F.

Three integrated zippers allow you to slip the cover on the camera, and the bottom zipper can snug around the tripod plate, helping to keep the camera warm while on a tripod.
You can use the cover on a handheld or tripod-mounted camera, and it supports the use of a matte box, though you can use it just as effectively without a matte box on your lens.
Two hand openings allow you to manually manipulate the lens with either hand, and a third hand opening provides access to the camera's viewfinder.
The hand openings feature cotton cuffs to help keep your hands warm.
