20mm F2.8 Di III OSD M12

Tamron enriches its range with three fixed focal length lenses for E-Mount cameras with full frame sensor. In addition to a high maximum brightness of F / 2.8, these lenses offer a reduced minimum focusing distance (magnification ratio 1: 2) and are exceptionally compact. The ultra wide-angle 20mm F / 2.8 Di III OSD M1: 2 (Model F050) provides an entirely new investigation. Thanks to the reduced minimum focusing distance it is possible to immortalize in a completely original way the most diverse subjects, landscapes, still lifes or snapshots of family members, with very dynamic perspectives. The fixed focal length lenses are distinguished by their low weight and practical dimensions: even if you carry all three of them, you can travel in an extraordinarily easy way.
Special optical lenses, including LD (Low Dispersion) and GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) elements suppress optical aberrations. Tamron's legendary BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) optical coating minimizes internal diffusion and flare. Additionally, camera-integrated image corrections can be used to make the most of the potential of high-resolution sensors. These fixed focal length lenses open up completely new and creative expressive possibilities!

The minimum focusing distance of 20mm is guaranteed by 0.11 m.

With all three lenses it is therefore possible to obtain a maximum magnification ratio of 1: 2 and photograph even the smallest objects in full frame. The frustration of not being able to get close enough to an object will be a thing of the past. Thanks to this it is possible to compose images with extremely intense perspectives, in which nearby objects are larger, while distant objects smaller. The high maximum brightness F / 2.8 also allows you to achieve an excellent shot with a pleasant background blur.

Light and compact

The lenses have been organized for compact mirrorless cameras. With a length of only 64 mm, they are particularly useful, practical and simple to use. While focusing, the total length does not change, so you need to take the photograph from close range without the risk of accidentally hitting the front lens.

In addition to the three new fixed focal length lenses there are other Tamron lenses dedicated to Sony E-Mount cameras. In fact, several objective objectives * are available which order to increase creative opportunities with a virtually infinite number of possibilities. What all lenses for mirrorless cameras have in common is their compatibility and lightness. Even the whole series can be transported comfortably. Suitably, all the lenses of the series have the same diameter for the filters (67 mm), so that only one set of UV filters and polarizers is sufficient.
