Laowa 19mm f2.8 Zero-D GFX

Venus Optics presents a new medium format lens dedicated to Fujifilm GFX cameras: Laowa 19mm f2.8 Zero D GFX.
The lens offers an ultra-wide angle of view of 110° with approximately 0 distortion, at the same time it is one of the most compact lenses in its class.

Super Compact
This lens is significantly lighter than most GFX lenses on the market.
As a wide-angle lens, it weighs just 546g and is 80mm long. The dimensions approach those of a full-frame lens.
Perfect for photographers on the go or wanting a lighter setup.

Ultra Wide
The 110° ultra-wide angle of view offers an ideal perspective for landscape, interior, architectural and astrophotography photography.
Thanks to the medium format sensor's 0.79x crop factor, the lens is equivalent to approximately 15mm on a 35mm format sensor.
It is extremely useful for shooting in confined spaces.


Zero distortion
This 19mm is also part of the Laowa "Zero-D" product line, which features near-zero optical distortion.
This feature is extremely useful for architectural and interior photographers, as all lines can be kept straight.

f/2.8 aperture
The Laowa 19mm GFX has a maximum aperture of f/2.8, which allows photographers to shoot in low-light environments without having to raise the ISO.
It also allows you to achieve better background separation for your subject.

Close focus distance
The Laowa 19mm GFX has an impressive 18cm close focus capability, allowing photographers to get very close to their subject while still being able to include background information in the scene.

Filter thread 77mm
Despite the ultra-wide angle of view, the lens is still capable of having a front thread for 77mm filters.
Photographers can quickly attach screw-on filters for maximum control and creativity in a variety of lighting conditions.

The 5-blade diaphragm produces a striking star effect on point lights. By reducing the aperture, the photographer can easily create a perfect 10-point star effect.

Focus scale adjustment
This lens features the same focus scale adjustment system as the 14mm full-frame.
This feature allows for easy focus calibration against user cameras.
The actual infinity point is right on the infinity sign, making it useful for field shooting, especially in astrophotography.
