The Samyang 8mm f / 2.8 UMC Fish-Eye lens is currently the most compact and the brightest integrated Fish-Eye for APS-C type mirrorless cameras, its optical construction includes 10 elements in 8 groups, including an aspherical element and two ED lenses with a very low dispersion index.
Thanks to this solution, the lens is extremely bright and maintains excellent sharpness both in the center and at the edges of the image.
Moreover with its three elements a very low dispersion and two aspherical elements have been incorporated in the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion in order to produce sharper images.

The physical objective is 180 ° offering a focal length equivalent to 35 mm of 12 mm, which makes it ideal for interior and architectural subjects.
