The UTX-M40 features a dynamic microphone capsule with a cardioid pickup lobe that focuses audio capture on the presenter in front of the microphone, reducing unwanted background noise.
The transmitter uses an interchangeable microphone capsule design and is compatible with over 40 different capsules from various manufacturers.
The UTX-M40 is backwards compatible with Sony's WL-800 and UWP series systems.
