All Profoto softboxes come with interchangeable diffusers that allow you to choose and select different levels of softness.
The diffusers are designed to soften the light and create a more even distribution, which reduces harsh shadows and creates a beautiful, natural look.
The diffuser can also be used as a neutral density filter if, for example, you are working with low apertures or long exposures.

The different diffusers range from 0.5 f-stop, which provides a slightly softer light, up to 1.5 f-stop, which creates a softness with more effects on the light.
All diffusers are easy to install and remove and allow you to quickly switch between settings.

*Please note: all Profoto softboxes come with a 1 f-stop diffuser.
