HIGH TRANSPARENCY HD POLARIZING FILM

Featuring a high transparency UV absorbing polarizing film, the HD Mk II CIR-PL has 25% better light transmission than the standard polarizing film used in current photographic filters. This means that almost 1/2 stop more light enters the lens - producing the same polarization effect, maintaining color balance and improving contrast and clarity. As light reflected from non-metallic surfaces becomes polarized, the CIR-PL HOYA HD Mk II filter allows you to control which light enters the lens to enhance the image.

With HOYA HD Mk II CIR-PL you can control and remove reflections (for example on water surfaces) to show natural colors and details of submerged objects.

It is also possible to reduce reflections from glass surfaces, to see through glass windows. This way, you can even distinguish the interior of the buildings!

IMPROVE CONTRAST AND COLOR SATURATION

This filter is not limited to controlling the reflection of surface light. The light waves behave in the clarity and saturation of some colors, making them appear blurred in the final photo. The HOYA HD Mk II CIR-PL also filters out these light waves, greatly enhancing the color contrast and making the skies and green foliage more defined through the deeper and more natural color tone.

HD REINFORCED GLASS - The HOYA HD Mk II CIR-PL features HOYA's high quality HD glass, which is a chemically enhanced special optical glass, offering four times better protection than conventional glass.
HIGH TRANSMITTANCE HD COATING - The 16-layer multi-reflective coating on both sides of the filter glass greatly reduces the possibility of any reflections caused by the filter. Since the coating has a water and oil repellent function while being stain resistant, cleaning the filter is easy and stress-free.
LOW PROFILE HD FRAME - The glass of the PROTECTOR HOYA Mk II is mounted with a special high pressure printing technology on the frame, giving it additional stability, which contributes to the strength of the filter.
