Optical Design
Its optical design comprises aspherical elements, extra-low dispersion elements, and a super extra-low dispersion element, all of which help to reduce distortion and color fringing for improved sharpness and color accuracy throughout the zoom range.
A fluorine coating has also been applied to protect the front element by repelling water, oil, and fingerprints.
