High-Speed Electronic Shutter
Never miss the moment of peak action with the R8 Mark II thanks to high-speed burst shooting and the addition of pre-capture.
- The R8 Mark II incorporates a pre-capture mode that begins recording images to the buffer when the shutter button is half-pressed. You can capture up to 20 frames within a half second, and the images will be saved upon fully pressing the shutter.
- Up to 40 fps of continuous shooting is possible with improved buffer capacity over the original R8. Capture up to 73 shots uninterrupted when shooting RAW, a 30% increase, and 190 shots when shooting JPEG, a 55% increase.

- The Advanced A+ mode recognizes the scene and performs intelligent bracketing and image processing to produce an optimal final image.
