The Lindy 4K60 Fiber Optic HDMI® Extender is an effective and reliable solution for extending HDMI UHD signals over long distances, up to 300m, using a simplex LC OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber optic cable (50/125µm).

The extender transmits 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit signals up to 300m with an OM3 or OM4 cable using a compression method, at the receiver the signal is then decompressed again for a display of UltraHD content without any loss of quality.
Thanks to the support of HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG and Dolby Vision, content can be displayed with better contrast and a much wider color range, perfect for home cinema applications and professional digital signage installations.
Compatibility with HDCP 2.2 encoding allows you to enjoy protected 4K UHD content without problems, including Blu-Ray movies, media-players, decoders etc.

Supports multi-channel audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DolbyTrueHD to provide both video and audio playback.

The use of LC multimode fiber optic cabling enables the transmission of high bandwidth audio and video signals over long distances, far exceeding those achievable with traditional copper extension systems.
Fiber optic cables are also completely immune to any electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, making this extender an ideal solution for installations in environments subject to strong interference such as medical, aerospace and industrial environments.
