The new 24mm T/14 Macro 2X PeriProbe brings innovations to the Probe project that will allow even more original and easier shooting.
It inherits from the previous project all the features that made it unique, adding to these a periscopic lens with an 85° field angle and a minimum focusing distance of just 2cm, with the possibility of changing the front barrel to switch from the periscopic optics to the front one, as well as rotating the optics 360° on its axis.
The end of the periscope barrel has a 1/4" female screw for any accessories.

"Bug-eye" perspective
Laowa 24mm Periprobe is able to focus at a very close distance: just 2 cm.
At the same time, the 85° field angle, wider than other macro lenses, creates a real "bug-eye" perspective, totally immersing you in the environment.
Thanks to the maximum magnification of 2:1, users will be able to shoot subjects of different sizes, capturing more details.

Depth of Field
The Periprobe has a wider field of view than macro telephoto lenses, with an aperture of T/14 to T740, which provides greater depth of field at close ranges.
This provides the ability to capture more detail in the natural environment in which the subject is located, or in the case of studio shots, more information about the background.

Tubular Barrel
The long, tubular barrel makes it easier to get close to subjects.

The 40cm long barrel allows you to get into very tight spaces such as holes in trees, Lego houses, candles on a cake…
For nature shots, it also allows you to maintain a safe distance from subjects.

Waterproof Front Barrel
The PeriProbe's front barrel is waterproof, allowing you to shoot underwater without the need for a waterproof body, for unique shots that no other lens can achieve.
