25mm Argus f0.95 APS-C Eos RF

Laowa Venus Optics Argus 25mm f / 0.95 APO lens for APS-c equivalent to a 35mm full frame, shows the same characteristics that distinguish the series: Maximum aperture f / 0.95, which thanks to the use of an aspherical lens combined with a ED lens and two UHR, it manages to provide excellent optical performance even at full aperture. The lens also uses an APO design to minimize chromatic aberations. Internal focusing movement and ring with wide excursion, to facilitate the search for the perfect focus and allow a very gradual change of subject, especially appreciated in the video.

Apochromatic design

The optics are designed with apochromatic optical design (APO) which
suppresses longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberration in both in-focus and out-of-focus areas.

Close focus distance
Laowa Argus 25mm f / 0.95 CF APO can focus at a very close distance, just 34cm, creating an extremely blurry background. It allows the photographer to capture different perspectives with details of the object.


Focus ring conversion system

Laowa Argus 25mm f / 0.95 APS-C is made of a sturdy metal alloy and accepts 62mm screw filters.

For video use it is possible to convert the focus mode from click-stop to continuous, in order to make the change in brightness smooth and prevent ring noise from being recorded in the audio.
