Supply:
It is the first flash in the world equipped with its own lithium polymer battery. This powerful battery (11v - 2000 mAh) completely replaces a Power Pack thus avoiding the clutter and discomfort of an external power unit in action shots such as reportages (weddings, events etc.) but it is not enough. Allows you to shoot at full power with a charging time of only 1.5 sec. and an autonomy of 650 flashes.

Compatibility:
It can work mounted on the reflex as a flash, bringing back all the functions of the original version
Guide number 58 (ISO 100) with TTL / M / Multi / S1 / S2 functions
TTL function: The flash exposes perfectly with all Nikon Af (i-TTL). Supports all TTL functions: FEC, FEB, Lock, FE, 2nd curtain sync, Modeling and direct control from the camera menu.

Optical master and slave:
Optical wireless function in both Master and Slave mode
In wireless Master mode it can activate Canon Speedlite and Nikon Sb flashes in both TTL and Manual modes
In wireless mode, Slave perfectly receives commands from Nikon SLR cameras

Radio slave:
Even if the V-680 has the Optical Wireless function, like the original flashes, this function is not compatible with the Wireless Radio commands. In fact, the flashes generally do not have a radio receiver inside them. For this function Godox has provided the Ft-16s radio kit (433MHZ) or the PT-16s (2,4Ghz) available as optional, whose receiver constitutes a single body with the flash. In fact, it is mounted directly on the flash in full harmony with the apparatus. This allows manual remote control of power.
The FT-16s (433MHZ) or PT-16s (2.4 GHz) transmitter can be mounted on the camera's hot contact shoe, as well as being a simple remote control for activating the flash remotely.
