Sony Dual-Channel Kit: 1x URX-P41D/K33 and 2x UTX-B40/K33 Transmitters 566-630MHz + MI Shoe Adapter for URX-P40 and URX-P41D Receivers

Built with simplicity in mind for DIY camera operators, videographers, vloggers, and journalists working in the field without a crew, the fourth-generation Sony UWP-D27 is a reliable, camera-mounted 2-channel wireless lavalier microphone system that delivers uncompromising audio quality while being easy to use and quick to set up without immersive menus.
This compact system is packed with professional features, including one-button NFC auto channel setting and auto gain functions, which handle time-consuming frequency setting and mic level adjustments for you, so you're ready to capture two people speaking simultaneously directly to your camera in seconds. It's ideal for documentaries, wedding videos, YouTube content, corporate commercials, hands-free interviews, and more.

The UWP-D27 features digital signal processing for pristine audio and analog UHF transmission with true-diversity reception for reliability, even in challenging shooting conditions. Rugged and lightweight, this system includes two bodypack transmitters, each with an ECM-V1BMP omnidirectional lavalier microphone.
It also comes with a low-profile camera-mount receiver designed for greater mobility with compact camcorders and smaller DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
Sony photographers can take advantage of the SMAD-P5 Digital MI Shoe Adapter (available separately), which provides a direct, clean digital audio connection to select Sony cameras equipped with a Digital Multi Interface Shoe. The UWP-D27 is backward compatible with Sony WL-800, UWP series, and UWP-D Generation III transmitters.

Professional features to speed up your workflow

NFC Automatic Channel Setting Mode

Hold down the NFC/Sync button and the dual receivers search for the two cleanest RF channels (one for each transmitter). Simply hold the transmitters near the receiver, it automatically syncs, and you're good to go!

Unlike purely digital systems, the UWP-D27 lets you send a single microphone to multiple cameras for broadcast applications.
Fast NFC communication makes setup for multiple receivers a breeze.
Auto Gain Mode to Prevent Microphone Distortion
Auto Gain mode saves time and hassle when setting and managing the input level on the transmitter.
It uses a limiter to help prevent distortion, which is great when the presenter's voice volume is unknown.
The +15 dB Gain Volume-Boost mode on the transmitters increases the microphone gain by 15 dB to compensate for situations where the microphone is not close enough to the presenter's mouth and the audio level is insufficient.
Manual input level adjustment is also available.
High-Gain Mode for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
High-Gain mode increases the receiver's output level, allowing you to reduce the input gain of your DSLR/mirrorless camera for an even quieter signal.

External Microphone Input for Additional Wired Microphone
The receiver features an external microphone input connector for connecting an additional wired microphone.
It allows for up to four-channel audio recording when using a stereo microphone.

Built-in 4-Channel Mixer
The receiver features a 4-channel mixer that allows you to control up to four microphone levels and assign output 1 or 2 as needed.

High-Visibility OLED Display for Indoor/Outdoor Use

Both the transmitter and receiver feature an easy-to-read OLED display.
The quick-response display allows you to clearly and accurately see operating conditions in real time, even in bright sunlight.

Channel memory function for quick switching between 4 transmitters
The channel memory function allows you to quickly switch from the groom's lav microphone to the wedding guest's interview microphone with the simple press of a button.
It also allows you to quickly switch between up to four microphones for business presentations or quickly switch to backup microphones.

The only compatible Sony digital camera interface for this receiver is the SMAD-P5 (not included).
